ORDERS

A fourteen (14) days notice is preferred for all orders. Any short notice orders are subject to a rush order fee, if accepted.

VARIATION IN DESIGN

While Life's Batter with Cake makes every effort to provide exactly the flavor, filling, decoration, size, color, shape, and design discussed during consultations, creating cake is an art form and may be subject to variations.
-- If the customer supplies an image or likeness to be created, Life's Batter with Cake will make every attempt to make the item as close to the likeness as possible. In the event that the product requires equipment or ingredients that cannot be obtained within the time allotted (exotic flavors, molds, shapes, stamps, texture, additional novelty such as glitter), the closest resemblance available will be used to complete the product.
-- Color matching is not a precise science and different sugar substrates take color differently. Life's Batter with Cake will do everything possible to make substrates match to each other and to match color request.
-- To maintain stability and the integrity of your event cake, The Bakery reserves the right to make design and structural changes to your cake on site or off, without prior notification.

RETAINER

50% of the order's total is required as a retainer at time of order to hold your date. Order is not considered accepted until retainer is paid.
--Retainer is FINAL. No refunds of retainer will be given under any circumstances

PAYMENTS

All sales are final.
All payments are non-refundable.
--The initial retainer reserves your event date, is non-refundable and non-transferable. When we take your event order, we begin the process of declining other orders. As we get closer and closer to your event date, the chances of re-booking your date are greatly reduced.
--The balance must be received within the following time frames below. Reservation deposits should be received within 24 hours of invoice receipt.

--Final payments are due one (1) day prior to pick up date. A 15% late fee will be charged if the balance is not paid in stated time frame. This fee, along with the invoice balance, will need to be paid before the order is given to the customer.

PICK UPS

A pickup time is agreed upon and reserved for each individual customer. If the customer is late to pick up, they will be given a 10-minute grace period. A $5 fee will be charged for every 5 minutes, thereafter. This fee will need to be paid before the order is given to the customer.
--It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the Customer is responsible to ensure that product(s) get to its destination safely and is stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality.
--The customer is liable for any damage, accident, or mishap that may occur once the cake is released from the care and custody of Life's Batter with Cake.
--If a third party is picking up on the customer's behalf, it is acknowledged and understood that the third party takes responsibility of the order and its condition while transporting to customer.

TRASPORTATION

For the safety of all orders during transport, it is advised the product(s) be placed in a floor board, clear of any/ all loose objects, feet or direct heat.
--It is not advised to allow product(s) to balance or tilt on seats or other objects.
--Life's Batter with Cake is not responsible for any damage to the product(s) during transport.

SET UP, CUTTING AND CARE

When handling any products, it's advised to carry/ lift with two (2) hands from the bottom.
--Placing on a flat, cleared surface is necessary while on display as well as during refrigeration.
--Remove cake from the refrigerator and let sit at room temp for approximately 30 minutes (no less). Cutting the cake directly after being chilled will result in difficult cutting and the cake being crumbly. (Thermal expansion)

PUBLICATION

We reserve the right to use any image of a Product made by us for publication at a later date.
